What you get

• 35%35% of the eligible cost of a commercial open-field horticulture project (45% in NE & Himalayan areas), on a cost of up to Rs 100 lakh.of the cost, at most (45% in North-Eastern & Himalayan states (HMNEH list), Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Andaman & Nicobar and Lakshadweep)
• 35%35% of the eligible cost of a polyhouse or shade-net project (45% in NE & Himalayan areas), up to Rs 100 lakh subsidy per project.of the cost, at most (45% in North-Eastern & Himalayan states (HMNEH list), Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Andaman & Nicobar and Lakshadweep)
• 35%35% of the eligible cost of a large cold storage (45% in NE & Himalayan areas), at most Rs 2 crore.of the cost, at most (45% in North-Eastern & Himalayan states (HMNEH list), Andaman & Nicobar and Lakshadweep)

Who can apply

How to apply

1. Get your project appraised and a term loan sanctioned by a bank; the term loan must be at least the subsidy you seek (Guidelines ch. 4, eligibility 2).
2. Apply online at nhb.gov.in — online submission is mandatory — uploading the signed documents and paying the application fee for your project size (ch. 4; circular cl. 7).
3. Complete the project; send the complete claim within 3 months of completion (ch. 1, Others 1).
4. After inspection the subsidy is released back-ended through your bank, against the loan.

Documents you need

• Self-attested PAN card and Aadhaar card
• Land ownership papers and Record of Rights in your name — or a lease of at least 10 years registered with the Sub-Registrar
• Detailed Project Report in NHB’s format, and the site layout plan where applicable
• Bank’s final sanction letter with its appraisal note
• Caste certificate if SC or ST
• Self-declarations on help already taken from NHB, NHM or central ministries, and on your family members (circular cl. 1)
