How to apply

  1. Contact your district fisheries office; beneficiary proposals are routed through the State/UT (Annexure II, item 1.12(iv)).
  2. Prepare a self-contained proposal with the species, capital and running cost, and timelines.
  3. Arrange your own share — a bank’s consent to lend it, or a declaration that you will invest your own money.
  4. After approval, build the unit; input assistance is released only once the ponds are ready for culture (item 1.5).

  • Bank’s consent to lend your share, or a declaration that you will invest your own funds
  • An undertaking that you have not taken a subsidy for the same activity under any government scheme
